✉️ hello@uprightposture.co.uk - Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in termination of care.
Punctuality
- It is proven that you will have a better correction if you are relaxed before treatment. Please ensure that you are ready at the exact start time of your appointment (e.g., having taken any necessary breaks and removed any accessories such as jackets, shoes, belts, and jewelry).
- While we do our best to stay punctual, please understand that emergency situations may occasionally require a client to receive extra time with their practitioner, leading to potential delays.
Children Policy
Children under the age of 16 must not be left unattended within the clinic at any time.
Payments & Refunds
Payment Policy
- All payments must be made in advance before the start of your appointment.
- We do not offer credit. If you arrive for an appointment without a means of payment, we will be unable to treat you, but you will still be charged for the missed session.
- We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Apple Pay/Android Pay

- Bank Transfer
Refund Policy
- If you decide to stop your corrections, please inform us as soon as possible.
- If you have prepaid for a treatment package, refunds will be calculated by charging all corrections that have already been used at the Pay-As-You-Go rate. This amount will be deducted from the total price paid for the package.
- If the expiry date of your package has passed, no refund will be possible.
Liability
- Upright Posture will not be liable in contract, tort, or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

- Clients must follow all instructions and recommendations provided by their practitioner regarding self-care and post-treatment guidance.
Complaints Procedure
We strive to treat all clients respectfully, appropriately, and compassionately. Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you have any concerns about your treatment, you may file a complaint:
Step 1: Initial Complaint
- Please first address your concern with us verbally at the clinic or via telephone.
- We will work to resolve the issue as soon as possible to your satisfaction.
Step 2: Formal Complaint
- If you do not receive a satisfactory resolution, please email your complaint to:
✉️ hello@uprightposture.co.uk - You will receive an acknowledgment within two working days confirming that an investigation is underway.
We take all matters seriously and will work towards a fair resolution.
Progress & Recovery Stages
During your initial physical assessment, we will provide approximate timeframes for your recovery journey. The three key recovery stages are:
- Time Until Comfortable – When pain and discomfort start to decrease.
- Time Until Stable – When posture and movement improve significantly.
- Total Unwinding Time – The complete realignment of your body.
For the first one to three months, we will gather additional data to refine these estimates.
Measuring Progress
Tracking Your Recovery
- We take measurements, photographs, and videos of your function, posture, and movement to track your progress.
- This data is confidential and used solely for internal evaluation unless you consent to its release.
Our Aims & Treatment Approach
Our goal at Upright Posture is to improve your biomechanics by correcting Primary Biomechanical Pathologies (PBPs) as defined by Advanced BioStructural Correction™:
“A bone out of place in a direction the body cannot self-correct because it has no muscles or combination of muscles pulling in the direction needed.”
Our treatment method aims to “unwind” the body through past injuries and restore proper biomechanics.
How Corrections Work
- Corrections involve a series of precise skeletal adjustments combined with the release of adhesions/scar tissue in the meningeal system.
- The treatment is generally pain-free, but mild temporary discomfort or stiffness may occur. These symptoms are usually minor and can be addressed during follow-up visits.
- In rare cases, symptoms may last 1–2 weeks, but our practitioners will support you through this process.
Self-Care Guidance
- To maintain and enhance the benefits of treatment, we provide detailed self-care instructions.
- Following these recommendations will support long-term recovery and stability.
Unwinding – The Recovery Process
What is Unwinding?
Unwinding is a long-term recovery process aimed at reversing old injuries and restoring normal function.
- Overall, unwinding is a positive experience, as it reduces physical stress on the body.
- However, temporary discomfort may occur as old injuries are processed and released.
- Symptoms may include pain, stiffness, dizziness, fatigue, or mood changes.
- These symptoms are temporary and indicate that your body is making significant progress toward full correction.
Commitment to the process is essential for long-term success.
More details on unwinding will be provided after your assessment and can also be found on our website:
